What's your blood type?
Blood type is a live category in Japan in a way it is almost nowhere else. A is held to be careful and anxious, B independent and wayward, O easygoing, AB unpredictable; magazines print compatibility charts, and it surfaces in conversation and occasionally in dating. Most people will give you their type without hesitating and many will ask for yours. Nobody claims it is science — treat it as an English speaker treats star signs, and note that not knowing your own is a slightly odd answer.
