I'll be honest with you, Javier: the team are divided about your testing proposal, and they've been arguing about it since Friday. Half of them think it's exactly what the six offices need, and the other half think it's head office telling them how to do their jobs. I'd like to sort it out before it turns into a proper row, if that's at all possible.

You said the team are divided, not the team is divided, and I noticed because in Toronto we'd always say is. Is that a British thing, or does it mean something different? I'm asking partly out of curiosity and partly because I need to understand how bad this is.
Has dicho the team are divided, no the team is divided, y me he fijado porque en Toronto siempre diríamos is.
