Keigo swaps the verb
Polite Japanese is not built by adding a politer ending. At the top of the register the verb itself changes: いる, 行く and 来る all become いらっしゃる when the subject is someone you are honoring, and おる when the subject is you. 言う becomes おっしゃる upward and 申す downward, 見る becomes ご覧になる and 拝見する. This is why a formal conversation can be hard to follow even when every word is familiar — the words are not the ones you learned.
